Cord Cutting
Aloha mai and welcome back, magical soul!
This week, let’s explore the art of cord-cutting, along with the importance of recognizing energetic hooks and drains—those subtle but strong connections that can keep us tied to people or energies that no longer align with us. I know these ideas might feel intense at first, but I hope to help you see them with compassion, not fear. Being aware of these attachments can empower you to reclaim your energy and release what might be blocking or holding you back.
So, how can we recognize cords, hooks, or drains? Think about a moment when you’ve had a disagreement or an emotional interaction with someone close, and afterward, you just can’t get them out of your mind. Maybe you even feel drained, despite having had plenty of rest. Or perhaps you feel sadness or irritability that seems to come out of nowhere. These can all be signs of an energetic cord with that person. Sometimes, cords connect us to even deeper energies, like ancestral or past-life bonds.
This reminds me of a powerful cord-cutting session I once experienced. I discovered a cord that had been with me since childhood, but it wasn’t just an ordinary attachment—there was also a curse tied to it, preventing me from sensing cords in my clients. In a past life, I was a seer serving a chief. When I warned him of a tragic event, he dismissed my vision, and when the unthinkable happened, I was blamed and punished. This trauma created a dark cord, carrying a curse across lifetimes, blocking my seer abilities until I was ready to face it.
During the session, I was guided to call my energy back, and I sensed the cord’s presence in my right kidney and liver. The weight was intense, and cutting this cord was a deep release. To seal the process, I completed a candle cord-cutting ritual. If you’re experiencing recurring resistance or feel drawn back to old emotional ties, a cord-cutting session can be a powerful step toward healing.
The truth is, we create energetic cords with everyone we allow into our space, even if we’re unaware of it. Connections from past relationships can be especially potent, often reinforced by deep emotional ties or intimacy. Here’s a simple practice to help identify who might still be energetically connected to you: try calling your energy back, and observe who reaches out to you shortly afterward. If someone reappears unexpectedly, it may be a sign of a cord that needs clearing.
If you’re ready to cut these cords and reclaim your energy, I’d be honored to support you through an energy consultation. Here’s to letting go of what no longer serves us and embracing our energy, whole and free. 🌙✨
With love and gratitude,
Alohilani
