White Lotus Reflections
Aloha mai and welcome back to my little corner of the inter-webs!
I just finished the season 3 finale of White Lotus, so if you haven’t seen it yet… spoiler alert! This is your sign to click away now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Okay, for everyone still here—you’ve seen the finale, gone through all five stages of grief, and are now sitting with the bittersweet ache of a Mike White masterpiece. Once again, he gave us just enough to stay hooked while expertly denying us the closure we thought we needed.
Now, let’s talk about the tragic love story of Rick and Chelsea. A tale as old as time: the spiritual girl who loves with her whole heart and the emotionally unavailable man who takes and takes until there’s nothing left.
Chelsea poured her love, healing, and wisdom into Rick—believing he was her soulmate. But in the end, her love couldn’t save him. Rick couldn’t confront his own demons, and because of that, Chelsea paid the ultimate price: her life.
But here’s the thing—Saxon was her true soulmate. Not the Saxon we met early on, but the one she inspired through her love and teachings. Their paths crossed again and again, but because she was still tied to Rick, she missed the chance to receive the love she truly deserved—a love that sees, listens, and reciprocates.
This storyline hit so close to home, not just for me but for so many of my clients. I’ve watched countless spiritual women become the emotional backbone for men who lean on their emotional intelligence without doing the inner work themselves. These men take refuge in the safety and healing the woman provides—but once they’ve drained her of her light, they leave.
No, they may not die like Rick did. But the effect is the same—the healer is left empty, wondering how she lost herself in the process.
But here's the truth:
It doesn’t have to be this way.
You can recognize the signs early on:
When they deflect blame and avoid accountability
When your gut tells you something’s off—believe it
When chaos keeps finding its way in, even when things should be simple
When they start falling apart the moment you call your energy back
That’s your cue. That’s your sign to walk away before they drag you down with them.
And if this resonates deeply, if you're in the process of letting go or feel stuck in a cycle that’s draining your energy and self-worth—my mōhalu 1:1 healing container is here to guide you through the transformation.
This is the space where you do the inner work, cut cords, and reclaim your power—so you stop calling in emotionally unavailable men and start attracting partners who are ready, healing, and whole.
You deserve more than being someone’s crutch.
You deserve to be met.
💫 If this sounds like what you need, I’d love to walk with you through this next chapter. Learn more about working 1:1 with me here.
