How to Manifest Your 2026 Breakthrough During Mercury Retrograde
Dearest Gentle Reader,
It has been a minute since I’ve updated this blog. And if you can’t already tell, I just finished the latest season of Bridgerton.
I went into it fully expecting a dud. Truly. I thought, here we go, another Cinderella storyline. We’ve seen this play out through countless books, movies, and TV shows. A tale as old as time type situation. Wicked stepmother, tragic heroine, handsome savior rides in, cue dramatic music, credits roll.
I almost didn’t make it through the first episode because it felt predictable. And in some ways, it was. But I stuck it out. And I’m glad I did.
Yes, the central love story eventually pulls you in. It’s sexy, dramatic, emotionally charged, all the things. But honestly? It was the side stories that kept me coming back this season. Without giving any spoilers, it wrapped up beautifully. Consider this your gentle nudge to add it to your watch list.
Now that we’ve handled society gossip…
How the heck are you doing?
We are currently in the hairy underbelly of eclipse season and Mercury retrograde. Do you feel it? That strong urge to question absolutely everything? Your passions. Your purpose. Your path. Your relationships. Your entire existence before breakfast.
This eclipse season really said, let’s flip the script. And the eclipse hit just two days after my birthday.
The last time an eclipse fell this close to my birthday was in 2018. A partial solar eclipse and Lunar New Year landed right on my birthday. A week later, my grandma suddenly passed away. So to say I’ve been on high alert this season would be fair. Not dramatic, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling a little anxious.
So I did what any emotionally curious person does. I looked back at 2018. I pulled up old emails, old photos, old versions of myself.
Yes, I lost my grandma suddenly. But I also met my husband suddenly. That year was full of fated, life altering moments that launched one of the most transformative chapters of my life.
Remembering that softened something in me.
Because whatever happens right now might sting. It might feel like I’m at my breaking point. But sometimes the edge is exactly where we have to meet ourselves in order to break through. To expand our capacity to hold more, feel more, do more, desire more.
2018 was a catalyst.
When I look back now, I feel connected to that version of me… but I don’t fully recognize her. She feels both familiar and foreign, like a memory and a myth at the same time. But I suppose that’s growth. The older, wiser, expanded version of me today is reflecting on how much life has changed since those eclipses.
And if we can look back and see transformation, then we can also look forward and choose it.
So humor me for a moment. Let’s manifest together.
Think of one to three things you truly desire to bring into fruition this year.
Now close your eyes.
Imagine it’s the year 2033. You are older. Wiser. More experienced. You’ve lived, you’ve stretched, you’ve expanded. And you’re looking back at your 2026 self.
What happened for you that year?
Now claim it.
Speak it as if it already occurred.
For example:
2026 was the year I had my first child.
2026 was the year I moved to Vegas to be closer to my family.
2026 was the year I hit that huge, life changing jackpot out of nowhere.
The key is this: phrase it as something that has already happened. When you say it out loud, let it land in your body like a memory resurfacing. Not something you’re forcing. Not something you’re begging for. Just something you’re remembering.
Because memories feel true. They feel embodied. They feel settled.
Notice how that shifts in you.
Notice how recalling feels different than striving.
Instead of trying to will it into existence, you’re remembering it into reality.
And that subtle shift? That’s where the magic lives.
